Preschool Lead Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Lead Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators. Reporting to the School Director, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and document curriculum aligned with Cadence educational philosophy and Signature Programs.
• Lead classroom operations, ensuring compliance with licensing, safety standards and Cadence Education policies.
• Support the physical, social, emotional and developmental needs of all children, including those with IEPs and behavioral support plans.
• Communicate regularly with families using Cadence‑required systems and tools.
• Maintain accurate records of accidents, incidents and escalated behaviors.
• Participate in trainings, meetings and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare or preschool education.
• Ability to create an inclusive classroom where every child feels respected.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and ability to implement IEPs.
• Strong communication skills with children, families and team members.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Cadence Education curriculum and documentation systems.
