Preschool Teacher (10am-6pm)

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join its classroom team from 10 am to 6 pm. Working under the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will help create a safe, nurturing environment that supports each child’s physical, social, emotional, and developmental growth.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom where children are treated with dignity and respect.
• Greet children and families daily, building welcoming professional relationships.
• Support individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavior plans.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence‑approved tools.
• Follow the Safety and Supervision Manual, documenting and reporting accidents or incidents.
• Manage, document, and escalate child behaviors according to Cadence policies.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies and licensing requirements.

Required profile

• Passion for early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children.
• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education settings.
• Ability to support children with IEPs and follow behavioral support plans.
• Strong communication skills with families and team members.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant classroom environment.
