Product Manager - AI (Telco)

About the role

Canonical is seeking a Product Manager focused on AI solutions for the telecom sector. The role is remote, based in the EMEA time zone, and involves leading the product development lifecycle from concept to market.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the product development lifecycle, set priorities and define goals for AI-driven telecom products.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing and sales teams to align on priorities and drive execution.
• Conduct market research, analyse industry trends and gather customer feedback to identify new opportunities.
• Communicate product vision, status updates and key decisions to stakeholders.
• Run usability testing, analyse user feedback and iterate to improve the user experience.
• Work with marketing, sales and support to develop go‑to‑market strategies, documentation and training.
• Oversee a product line to ensure consistent strategy and execution across teams.
• Facilitate collaboration and resolve conflicts across departments.

Required profile

• Exceptional academic results at high school and university.
• Strong understanding of Linux and the open‑source ecosystem.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, application development, datacenters and cloud technologies.
• Passion for writing about technology and continuous learning.
• Strong work ethic, sense of ownership and problem‑solving ability.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to manage multiple projects or product lines while staying focused on priorities.
• Leadership experience in aligning diverse teams and driving consensus.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to four times a year.
