Professional Sales Agent - Nakawa

About the role

Silicon Valley Global Ph Inc – International is seeking a motivated Professional Sales Agent to join its team in the Nakawa area of Kampala. You will be the front‑line representative promoting trade‑finance and related insurance solutions to both new and existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop sales opportunities within the trade‑finance sector.
• Present, negotiate and close financial and insurance products with clients.
• Conduct client meetings, answer inquiries and deliver high‑quality customer service.
• Support training sessions for clients or internal team members on product usage.
• Prepare regular sales reports and collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Travel locally within assigned areas as required.

Required profile

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Proven customer‑service experience with a focus on relationship building.
• Demonstrated sales skills including prospecting, negotiation and closing.
• Basic understanding of insurance and financial products, preferably trade finance.
• Experience in training or coaching clients and colleagues.
• Relevant background in sales, finance, banking or insurance is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala and travel locally.
• Organised, reliable and results‑oriented.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field preferred.
