Project Manager – Recruitment Platform Initiatives

About the role

Job Connect is seeking a proactive Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of recruitment and platform‑related initiatives. Based in Kampala, you will ensure projects meet objectives, timelines, and quality standards while enhancing the user experience of our career platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scopes, create detailed plans, and set realistic milestones.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, allocate resources, and monitor progress against schedules.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, track risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare regular status reports for internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Continuously evaluate and improve workflows and processes to boost efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in project coordination, expediting, or similar roles ensuring timely delivery of tasks and deliverables.
• Background in inspection, quality control, and logistics management.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making capabilities with high attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or a related field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
