About the role
Mississippi Christian University is seeking a part‑time Public Safety Officer for its Clinton Campus. This non‑sworn position reports to the Shift Supervisor within the Office of Public Safety and supports campus safety operations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct foot patrols on campus grounds.
- Work outdoors in inclement weather for extended periods.
- Provide security coverage during evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
Required profile
- High school diploma (degree or college credit desirable).
- Valid driver’s license.
- Willingness to work evenings, overnight, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to pass a background investigation.
