Registered Nurse – Clinical Care (Kampala)

About the role

This full-time, on-site Nurse role is based in Kampala and supports clinical care within a data‑driven healthcare environment. The Nurse will provide direct patient care, including assessment, monitoring, administering medications, and coordinating treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care: assessment, monitoring, medication administration, and treatment plan coordination.
• Document accurate patient information in electronic health records.
• Support integration of clinical data into Mediloop’s digital health platform.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Educate patients and families on treatment, prevention, and follow‑up care.
• Contribute to quality‑improvement initiatives and efficient clinical workflows.

Required profile

• Clinical care skills including patient assessment, medication administration, and vital‑sign monitoring.
• Proficiency in medical documentation and use of electronic health records or digital health systems.
• Knowledge of infection‑prevention, patient‑safety practices, and standard clinical protocols.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for multidisciplinary collaboration and patient education.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain accuracy in a fast‑paced setting.
• Valid nursing license or registration in Uganda and completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Experience in hospital or primary‑care settings; familiarity with tech‑enabled or data‑driven healthcare environments is an advantage.
