Robotics Trainer

About the role

Mindset Coders is looking for a Robotics Trainer to deliver its hands‑on robotics curriculum to students aged 8‑18 in Kampala. You will guide learners through project‑based activities, foster critical thinking, and help them build practical technical skills.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct engaging robotics training sessions for various age groups.
• Develop and adapt curriculum materials to suit different learning levels.
• Provide guidance and support during hands‑on activities and projects.
• Assess student progress and deliver constructive feedback.
• Participate in robotics competitions and related events.
• Collaborate with fellow trainers to share best practices and improve the curriculum.
• Stay current with developments in robotics education.

Required profile

• Experience in robotics and programming, preferably with Arduino or LEGO Mindstorms.
• Strong teaching, mentoring, or tutoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for STEM education and working with young learners.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Availability to work weekends when programs are scheduled.
