Sales Agent (Full‑time, Kampala)

About the role

BUSINESS SKILLS UGANDA is looking for motivated Sales Agents to join its Kampala team. In this full‑time, on‑site role you will promote the company’s business planning, advertising and development services to prospective clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and qualify prospective clients.
• Present and explain the company’s services, tailoring the pitch to client needs.
• Conduct client meetings, respond to inquiries and maintain accurate lead and sales records.
• Close sales to achieve and exceed set targets.
• Provide courteous post‑sale customer service and follow‑up to ensure client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine sales approaches and support promotional events.
• Participate in training sessions to improve product knowledge and sales techniques.

Required profile

• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation with relationship‑building skills.
• Goal‑oriented mindset, integrity and ability to work independently or in a team.
• Minimum diploma or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field; field sales experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Basic understanding of insurance or related financial products (ability to learn and communicate key features).
• Familiarity with business planning, advertising or business development services is an advantage.
