Sales Agent – Insurance & Financial Services

About the role

Prudential Assurance Uganda is seeking motivated, people‑oriented individuals to join its Sales & Distribution team as Sales Agents. This full‑time position offers a pathway into the insurance and financial services sector, with training and mentorship provided for recent graduates or candidates with up to two years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Educate clients on insurance and financial protection solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and follow‑ups.
• Achieve agreed sales and performance targets.
• Manage a personal sales pipeline and maintain accurate records.
• Provide excellent customer service and ongoing support.
• Participate in sales training, team meetings, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Individuals with no prior work experience or recent graduates.
• Candidates with 1–2 years of sales, customer service, marketing, insurance, or related experience.
• Confident, ambitious, self‑motivated, and eager to learn.
• Strong communication, networking, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working toward performance‑based targets.
