Sales Agent

About the role

The Sales Agent role is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kampala. The successful candidate will identify potential clients, promote Platinum Credit Limited’s loan and finance products, and guide customers through the application and approval process, ensuring clear communication of terms and conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage new customers for loan and finance products.
• Conduct product presentations and explain terms and conditions accurately.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and handle inquiries and follow‑ups.
• Provide excellent service before and after sales, supporting customers throughout the approval process.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors, participating in sales meetings and training sessions.
• Work towards individual and branch sales targets in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Sales expertise including prospecting, negotiation and closing.
• Knowledge of insurance and related financial products.
• Ability to learn quickly, share product knowledge and train others.
• Relevant experience in micro‑finance, banking or financial services is beneficial.
• Ability to work towards targets, manage time effectively and operate in a field‑based sales environment.

Required skills

• Computer literacy.
• Familiarity with CRM or sales‑tracking tools.
