Sales Agent – Solar Energy Solutions

About the role

Lumina Solar is looking for enthusiastic Sales Agents to promote and sell its range of solar energy products in Kampala. This entry‑level position offers comprehensive product training and the chance to build a career in the fast‑growing renewable energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell solar panels, lithium batteries, hybrid inverters, power stations and complete solar systems.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Assess customer energy needs and recommend appropriate solar solutions.
• Prepare quotations, follow up leads and close sales.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Conduct market research on customer needs, competitor activity and emerging trends.
• Represent the company at client visits, exhibitions and promotional events.
• Provide after‑sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular activity reports.
• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and installation.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidates with at least one month of relevant experience.
• Willingness to undergo product training.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
