Direct Sales Representative

About the role

The Direct Sales Representative will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala, promoting Platinum Credit’s loan products to prospective customers. You will guide clients through the application process, ensure accurate documentation, and support them with excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach prospective customers in the field.
• Explain loan products and assist clients with application and documentation.
• Meet daily and monthly sales targets.
• Conduct field visits, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate interaction records.
• Provide product training and demonstrations to potential clients.
• Collaborate with branch and regional teams on sales campaigns.
• Report market feedback and ensure compliance with company policies.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
• Effective verbal and written communication for explaining financial products.
• Customer‑service orientation with problem‑solving abilities.
• Sales experience, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing deals.
• Experience in training or product demonstrations is a plus.
• Prior experience in direct sales, financial services, or micro‑finance is advantageous.
• Minimum diploma in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
• Ability to work independently in the field with professionalism and integrity.
