Sales Associate – Insurance Agency

About the role

The Sales Associate will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency. The role focuses on identifying new clients, presenting the agency’s services and nurturing relationships to generate new business and retain existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential clients and build a robust sales pipeline.
• Prepare and deliver sales pitches, attend client meetings and follow up on leads.
• Negotiate terms, prepare proposals and report on sales performance and market trends.
• Collaborate with creative and account‑management teams to align client needs with agency solutions.
• Participate in networking events, industry functions and marketing initiatives to increase brand visibility.
• Maintain accurate records using CRM and office tools.

Required profile

• Proven sales, client relationship management and business development experience in advertising, marketing or related fields.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Basic understanding of advertising and marketing concepts, including digital media and branding.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple leads and deadlines.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment and work cross‑functionally.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related discipline (preferred).
