Sales Hunter – New Business Development

About the role

The Sales Hunter is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Kampala, responsible for aggressively identifying, pursuing and closing new business opportunities for Platinum Credit Limited.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and generate leads.
• Conduct client meetings and explain loan products and terms.
• Guide potential customers through the application process.
• Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and provide market feedback.
• Collaborate with branch staff and management to ensure high‑quality customer experiences and support promotional campaigns.

Required profile

• Strong sales and business development skills, including prospecting, lead generation, and closing deals.
• Customer service and relationship management abilities with a focus on trust and long‑term client connections.
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of loan products, credit assessment, and responsible lending practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
• Ability to work in a target‑driven environment with self‑motivation, resilience, and time management.
• Completion of secondary education; diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field is an advantage.
