Sales Officer

About the role

The Sales Officer will join EMUK Finance’s on‑site team in Kampala, driving the acquisition of new clients and supporting existing customers throughout the loan process. This full‑time position focuses on expanding the company’s portfolio of personal, business and mortgage loans while ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new clients for personal, business and mortgage loan products.
• Generate and qualify leads, managing the sales pipeline to meet growth targets.
• Maintain and nurture customer relationships, guiding clients through the loan application process.
• Maintain accurate sales records and reporting.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve collective targets and share best practices.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication abilities.
• Proven experience in lead generation and sales operations with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Knowledge of channel sales and ability to manage partnerships with distributors or agents.
• Analytical mindset to assess market trends and develop sales strategies.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a performance‑driven team.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in financial services or the loan industry is an advantage.
