Sales Representative – Entebbe

About the role

The Sales Representative will promote and sell optical products at Lapaire’s Entebbe shop, interacting directly with customers in‑store, in the field and over the phone. You will work closely with an Eye Specialist and report to the Branch Manager, ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Reach out to potential customers via phone, field visits, and in‑store interactions.
• Increase awareness of clear sight and the benefits of eyeglasses.
• Guide customers in selecting frames and lenses that suit their needs.
• Convert interest into successful sales and collect deposits.
• Present clear pricing, installment plans, and payment options.
• Follow up on enquiries, answer questions about pricing, delivery and payment.
• Coordinate smooth delivery or pick‑up of glasses and keep customers informed.
• Maintain accurate sales records and report performance to the Branch Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or a related field.
• At least 1 year of professional experience in a business or retail environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with solid sales techniques and telephone etiquette.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in accounting and analysis software such as Excel.
