Sales Representative – Insurance Agency

About the role

The Insurance Agency is seeking a full‑time Sales Representative to work on‑site in Kampala. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads and building a robust pipeline of potential clients across various sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with prospects, understand their marketing and insurance needs, and present agency services.
• Develop tailored proposals, negotiate contracts and close sales.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and account expansion.
• Collaborate with creative and account‑management teams to align client expectations with deliverables.
• Track sales performance, report results and contribute to the agency’s growth targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management, preferably in advertising, marketing or related services.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple prospects, follow‑up consistently and work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
• Basic understanding of advertising and marketing concepts (digital, social media, traditional) with a willingness to learn.
• Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field; relevant experience may substitute for formal education.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Kampala and engage with local clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using CRM or sales‑tracking tools (advantageous).
