Sales Representative – Insurance Agency

About the role

The Sales Representative will work full‑time on‑site in Kampala for an insurance agency. The role focuses on generating new business, presenting agency services, and closing deals to meet sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect, contact and qualify potential clients.
• Conduct meetings and presentations to explain agency services.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and negotiate terms.
• Manage a pipeline of leads, follow up inquiries and close deals.
• Collaborate with creative and account teams to align solutions with client needs.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients and provide regular sales reports and market feedback.

Required profile

• Strong sales and business development experience, including lead generation and negotiation.
• Experience in advertising, marketing or related fields with ability to communicate agency services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a professional client‑facing demeanor.
• Proven ability to build long‑term client relationships and manage multiple accounts.
• Goal‑oriented mindset with experience meeting sales targets and KPIs.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kampala and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
