Sales Representative – Insurance Agency (Kampala)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Sales Representative to join our insurance agency in Kampala. You will be responsible for generating new business, building client relationships, and promoting our insurance and marketing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and outreach.
• Conduct meetings, deliver pitches, and prepare proposals and quotations.
• Follow up with prospects to close deals and achieve sales targets.
• Coordinate with account‑management and creative teams to scope work, ensure timely delivery, and maintain client satisfaction.
• Track sales performance, keep accurate records in the CRM system, and contribute to forecasts and reports.

Required profile

• Strong client relationship management, negotiation and consultative selling abilities.
• Proven experience in prospecting, lead generation and pipeline management.
• Ability to present proposals, handle objections and close sales.
• Knowledge of advertising and marketing services, both digital and traditional.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with confident presentation skills.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple clients and deadlines.
• Proactive, target‑driven mindset; capable of working independently and within a team.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field preferred.
