Sales Representative

About the role

The Sales Representative will promote Eleglance Finance’s loan products to individuals, groups and SMEs, driving revenue and expanding the client base. This entry‑level position is based in Kampala and reports to the Credit Manager, working closely with the Branch Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet monthly and annual revenue targets.
• Prospect new customers through cold calling, networking and digital outreach.
• Engage customers as the primary point of contact, presenting product benefits and conducting negotiations.
• Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and presentations.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline records and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
• Plan and implement marketing campaigns across digital, print and field channels.
• Manage social media platforms, create content and monitor online engagement.
• Conduct market research to track industry trends and competitor activity.

Required profile

• Entry‑level candidate with at least one month of relevant experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with team members.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a drive to achieve sales targets.
