Sales Representative (Optical) – Entebbe

About the role

Lapaire is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Representative to drive sales at its optical shop in Entebbe. You will interact directly with customers both in‑store and in the field, delivering high‑quality service and promoting clear vision solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Reach out to potential customers via phone, field visits, and in‑store interactions.
• Explain the benefits of eyeglasses and guide customers in selecting frames and lenses.
• Convert interest into sales, collect deposits, and close transactions.
• Provide clear pricing, installment options, and answer queries on payment and delivery.
• Coordinate smooth delivery or pick‑up of glasses and keep customers informed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
• At least one year of professional experience in a retail or business environment.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work closely with an Eye Specialist and report to the Branch Manager.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting and analysis software, particularly Microsoft Excel.
