Salesperson – Financial Services

About the role

Platinum Credit Limited is seeking a full‑time Salesperson to work on‑site in Kampala. You will engage directly with prospective and existing clients, promoting a range of loan products and financial services tailored to civil servants, teachers and employees of selected organisations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach potential customers and explain product features, eligibility criteria and benefits.
• Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring timely completion of documentation and disbursement.
• Meet established sales targets and maintain accurate records of leads, conversions and follow‑ups.
• Provide market feedback to management and collaborate with branch and credit teams.
• Uphold high ethical standards and ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven sales and customer‑service experience with the ability to build long‑term client relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of micro‑finance or credit products (experience in financial services is a plus).
• Ability to work with targets, manage time efficiently and keep precise sales records.
• Certificate, diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or a related field is preferred.
• High integrity, reliability and a professional attitude, ready to work on‑site and in the field as required.
