About the role

The Upland Unified School District is seeking a qualified Secondary Physical Education Teacher for the 2026/2027 academic year at Pioneer Junior High. The successful candidate will deliver engaging PE lessons to middle‑school students, promote healthy lifestyles, and support the school’s athletic programs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess physical education curriculum for secondary grades.
• Organize and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events.
• Maintain accurate student records, grades, and attendance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate health and wellness initiatives.
• Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all learners.

Required profile

• Valid Single Subject Teaching Credential in Physical Education or University Intern Credential.
• Letter of Introduction and current resume.
• Copy of transcript and credential documentation.
• English Learner Authorization (if applicable).
• Three recent letters of recommendation (within the last 12 months).
