Secondary Specialist Teacher (IB) – Kampala, Uganda – Aug 2026

About the role

ASQ International is looking for passionate secondary specialist teachers to join its IB World School in Kampala. The successful candidates will deliver high‑quality lessons across a range of subjects, inspire a diverse student body and contribute to a vibrant international community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging IB curriculum lessons in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Maths, Physics, English, Psychology or Sociology.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and school initiatives.
• Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies and promote a safe learning environment.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and school events.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or in the relevant subject area.
• Qualified teacher status (e.g., QTS, PGCE or equivalent).
• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for teaching.
• Experience or willingness to work within an international, IB‑based setting.
