Senior Innovation Associate

About the role

Spark MicroGrants is looking for a Senior Innovation Associate to work closely with the Chief Innovation Officer and the Innovation team. The role will help channel resources and decision‑making to village‑level projects across several African countries by partnering with the World Bank and other multilateral institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to identify and frame new innovation opportunities for community‑driven development.
• Own and manage end‑to‑end projects, moving ideas from concept to implementation with minimal supervision.
• Maintain and expand relationships with donors, government partners, and multilateral agencies.
• Conduct research, produce analytical reports, and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Develop and oversee systems, tools, and standards that support the Innovation team’s work.

• Highly organized with a track record of delivering on multiple concurrent tasks.
• Curious and eager to investigate new questions, turn insights into actionable solutions.
• Strong written communicator and clear thinker able to represent the team to senior partners.
• Passionate about scaling high‑impact community‑driven development through novel financing pathways.
