Senior Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Hotel Operations to lead day‑to‑day activities at KRM Hotel in Kampala. Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will ensure exceptional guest experiences while driving operational efficiency across all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of front office, housekeeping, food & beverage, maintenance and security.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and promptly resolve guest complaints.
• Monitor occupancy, reservations and revenue performance to maximize profitability.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Develop and implement procedures that improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Manage budgets, control operational costs and optimise resource utilisation.
• Supervise departmental managers, coach staff and support employee development.
• Prepare operational reports and recommend continuous improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or a related field.
• 8‑10 years progressive experience in hotel management, with proven senior‑level supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Hotel Management Systems (HMS).
• Proficiency with hotel reservation software and property management systems.
