Spa Therapist – Full‑Time

About the role

The Spa Therapist will deliver professional massage and body‑treatment services to hotel guests, ensuring safety, comfort and a high‑quality spa experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide massage services using appropriate props and products.
• Perform body treatments such as scrubs, wraps and hydrotherapy.
• Assess guest needs and contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before each service.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and arrange workstations and drapes.
• Promote and sell spa and retail offerings.
• Clean, maintain and sterilize tools and keep the treatment area tidy throughout the shift.
• Monitor the daily schedule and handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott SOPs.
• Report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions to management.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• At least 1 year of related spa or massage experience.
• State or regional massage license as required by local regulations.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Professional massage therapy techniques.
• Body‑treatment methods (scrubs, wraps, hydrotherapy).
• Knowledge of contraindications and guest health screening.
• Sanitation and sterilization procedures for spa equipment.
