About the role

Arena Magazine, a fast‑growing print and digital publication, is looking for an ambitious Staff Writer to help launch and expand its online presence. You will be one of the core writers shaping the editorial vision and producing both short‑form and long‑form stories for the website.

Key responsibilities

• Conceive, draft, and publish daily short pieces and longer feature articles.
• Pitch story ideas, collaborate with the editorial team, and adapt to assigned topics.
• Edit guest columns and contributor pieces to maintain quality standards.
• Conduct interviews, cultivate sources, and build a network of contacts.
• Assist the growth team with content distribution, newsletters, and email products.

Required profile

• Entry‑level writer with up to 12 months of relevant experience.
• Strong command of clear, engaging prose and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast‑moving startup environment.
• Willingness to engage with the audience and adapt to evolving role scope.
