Territory Sales Representative – Mbarara

About the role

The Territory Sales Representative will be the primary field contact for our LPG product portfolio in the Mbarara region, driving new business and nurturing existing customer relationships through face‑to‑face interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and Customer Service Centre Manager to create and execute a sales plan that meets monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Maximise face‑time with prospective customers, identify opportunities across the LPG product range and actively participate in the local community.
• Prospect, research and qualify new business opportunities, generate awareness and secure new accounts.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, including pricing and terms, to key decision‑makers.
• Negotiate and close sales while acting as the subject‑matter expert and primary contract resource for customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects and existing customers throughout the sales cycle.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to ensure customer needs are met and resolve any issues that arise.
• Report regularly on sales progress, pipeline status and key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in field sales, preferably within the LPG or energy sector.
• Ability to develop and maintain effective key‑customer relationships.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with confidence presenting proposals.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage a sales territory.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the Mbarara area and engage with the local community.
