Truck Driver – Kampala Branch

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Truck Driver to join our Kampala branch and transport LPG cylinders, staff and company goods safely and on time. The role requires strict adherence to road safety rules and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Transport LPG cylinders and related goods to and from designated destinations, ensuring safe handling and proper loading/unloading.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, water, brakes, tires) and report any mechanical issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage, fuel usage and incident reports.
• Keep the vehicle clean, road‑worthy and compliant with the company’s maintenance schedule.
• Support depot operations by assisting with cylinder movements when not driving.

Required profile

• Valid Ugandan driving licence (Class CM, CH or DL preferred).
• Minimum three years’ experience driving heavy commercial vehicles, preferably in fuel or LPG transport.
• Good knowledge of Kampala roads and surrounding areas.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.
