About the role
Kansanga Hill Primary School is looking for a qualified Upper Primary Mathematics Teacher to join its dedicated teaching team. The role involves delivering engaging, learner‑centered mathematics lessons that align with the current curriculum and fostering a disciplined, supportive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver mathematics lessons for upper primary students.
- Utilise ICT tools to enhance learning and assessment.
- Maintain effective classroom management and discipline.
- Prepare and record student progress reports and administrative documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects.
Required profile
- Diploma in Primary Education with a specialization in Mathematics.
- Knowledge of the current Ugandan primary curriculum.
- At least two years of relevant teaching experience.
- Professional, innovative, responsible and able to work well in a team.
Required skills
- Strong mathematics knowledge.
- Proficiency in ICT applications for teaching.
- Classroom management techniques.
- Administrative and record‑keeping abilities.
