Warehouse Manager – Operations & Team Leadership

About the role

Sunda International is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and optimise all warehouse activities in its Kamwokya facility. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, accurate inventory, and a safe working environment while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, planning, and execution.
• Recruit, train, and develop a high‑performing warehouse team.
• Maintain alignment between physical stock and system records.
• Design, implement and refine warehouse processes for efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and asset protection policies.
• Meet and exceed team performance targets.
• Handle emergencies and resolve operational anomalies promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Management, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of warehouse management experience.
• Strong planning, risk assessment, problem‑solving and cross‑departmental communication abilities.
• Highly responsible, meticulous, and results‑driven.

Required skills

• Proficiency with WMS and ERP systems.
• Extensive experience in inventory management and system optimisation.
• Process optimisation expertise.
