WASH Supervisor

About the role

The WASH Supervisor will monitor the qualitative growth of the Water and Sanitation loan product and support branch teams to boost productivity and loan portfolio expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Support, monitor and supervise the performance of WASH Credit Officers across all branches.
• Identify new business opportunities and deepen existing relationships for WASH loans.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports on loan portfolio, sales and recoveries.
• Review loans in arrears, follow up on payments and ensure timely collections.
• Conduct regular reviews of active loans, flag early warning signals and take corrective actions per credit policy.
• Ensure compliance with post‑disbursement conditions and covenants.
• Manage daily attendance of WASH credit officers and develop monthly activity plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Credit Officer in a financial institution.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, travel upcountry and act with integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
