A220 Pathway Ground Instructor – PT

About the role

The Ground Instructor to First Officer Pathway Program enables current Certified Flight Instructors to deliver ground training for Breeze Airways pilots while building flight hours. Instructors work at the Breeze Training Academy about 10 days per month and must commit to an 18‑month term.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure course content complies with regulatory requirements and maintains curriculum standardization.
• Prepare, deliver, and document classroom instruction for new hires and recurrent training across all pilot categories.
• Maintain training facilities, records, and presentations in an accurate, error‑free manner.
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics of classroom sessions with the Manager, Ground Training Systems.

Required profile

• Current Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) with at least one year of aviation instructor experience.
• FAA Commercial certificate with airplane multi‑engine rating and a valid First‑Class medical certificate.
• Must be at least 21 years old, hold a valid U.S. driver’s license, passport, and be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time and pass DOT drug testing and TSA background checks.
