Accounting and Finance Trainee

About the role

The Finance and Accounting Trainee role at TechBuzz Hub is a full‑time position designed to give participants hands‑on experience in accounting and finance functions. You will learn to use accounting software, support the preparation of financial statements and apply analytical skills to assess financial data while working both in the Kampala office and on occasional field assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Learn and operate accounting software for data entry and reporting.
• Assist in the preparation and review of financial statements.
• Perform cash‑flow forecasting and financial planning tasks.
• Conduct investment analysis and risk management assessments.
• Support various finance‑related activities and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Background in accounting or finance (pursuing or completed degree).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Good communication and analytical abilities.
