About the role

Welile Technologies is seeking passionate AI Software Engineers to develop AI‑powered financial infrastructure for Africa. You will join a fast‑moving startup where you will work on large language models and AI agents to create products that impact millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship production‑ready software used by thousands of users.
• Build and integrate AI components such as LLMs and AI agents.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver features from concept to deployment.
• Automate existing systems and improve them with AI technologies.
• Continuously learn and adopt the latest AI tools and platforms.

Required profile

• Deep enthusiasm for AI, automation, and emerging technologies.
• Fast learner who can work independently and solve complex engineering problems.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants and modern developer tools.
• Focus on building functional products rather than just ideas.
• Ability to move quickly while maintaining high quality.
