Analyst, Business Banking

About the role

The Analyst, Business Banking supports the Enterprise Banking Hub with day‑to‑day portfolio administration, client servicing, sales, operations and credit management. The role ensures client requests are fulfilled efficiently, portfolio risks are actively managed and all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and resolve client queries, service requests and complaints within agreed turnaround times.
• Support Relationship Managers in achieving portfolio growth, sales, revenue and client‑service targets.
• Identify, capture and refer sales opportunities while maintaining accurate pipeline and client information.
• Analyse financial information and assist in preparing high‑quality credit applications.
• Monitor excesses, credit limits, annual reviews and conditions of approval to maintain a healthy portfolio.
• Coordinate with internal product, credit and support teams to deliver seamless client solutions and ensure accurate account‑opening and portfolio‑maintenance activities.

Required profile

• A first degree in Business, Commerce or a related discipline from a recognised institute.
• At least four years of relevant banking experience, including account analysis, lending principles, credit applications, sales and client servicing.
• Strong analytical ability with sound interpretation of financial and portfolio data.
• Client‑focused communication skills and confidence engaging internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong risk awareness, attention to detail and disciplined adherence to procedures.
