Area Sales Manager - Uganda

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our animal feed business in Uganda. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and building strong relationships with farmers, distributors, and key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet regional revenue targets.
• Manage and grow a network of customers, including farmers, retailers, and distributors.
• Promote animal feed products, provide technical support and product knowledge.
• Identify new business opportunities and increase market penetration.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer needs.
• Lead and coach the regional sales team to achieve targets.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and market feedback for management.
• Coordinate with marketing and production to ensure product availability and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the animal feed industry, with focus on poultry, pig or fish feeds.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Leadership experience managing sales teams.
• Ugandan residency.
