About the role
Lucid is seeking an Associate to drive business development and strategic partnership initiatives. You will help shape corporate strategy, identify high‑impact collaborations, and support market‑focused analysis in the luxury electric‑vehicle space.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and establish new business partnerships aligned with Lucid’s strategic goals.
- Conduct market analysis and industry research to keep internal stakeholders informed of emerging trends.
- Monitor and assess companies of strategic relevance, preparing business case analyses and recommendation reports.
- Create presentation materials, participate in external meetings, and maintain business‑development tracking tools and databases.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, finance, and other teams to achieve business objectives.
Required profile
- Passion for transforming the automotive and mobility industry.
- Excellent critical‑thinking, research, and analytical capabilities.
- Strong financial knowledge, including the ability to read income statements, balance sheets, and cash‑flow statements.
- Self‑starter attitude with high attention to detail and comfort working in ambiguous environments.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, corporate development, market or equity research, management consulting, or corporate finance.
- Prior experience in automotive, mobility, or related sectors is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Financial statement analysis.
- Market research and industry analysis.
