Associate - Marketing

About the role

The Associate - Marketing at MAF Retail's head office in Uganda drives effective marketing and loyalty initiatives that improve brand awareness, customer engagement and retention while supporting business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee marketing operations, including campaign execution, budget management, vendor relationships and performance tracking.
• Monitor and analyse marketing metrics such as sales KPIs, customer engagement and ROI to optimise strategies.
• Coordinate corporate social responsibility initiatives (RUYB).
• Develop and maintain partner relationships, negotiate contracts and terms and strengthen marketing campaign effectiveness.
• Plan and run advertising campaigns, promotional events and other marketing activities.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on performance, trends and opportunities.
• Distribute loyalty marketing artwork across stores and manage loyalty programmes to meet customer expectations and company goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field.
• 3+ years in a similar position.
• Verbal, presentation and written communication experience.
• Strong process management, planning, organisation, multitasking and attention to detail.
• Full professional proficiency in English (required).
