Automotive Community & Field Operations Intern

About the role

SpareHub is building a digital ecosystem for Africa’s automotive market. As an Automotive Community & Field Operations Intern you will act as the bridge between the platform and the people who drive, repair, and sell vehicles on the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Visit mechanics, spare‑parts shops, drivers and automotive businesses to introduce SpareHub.
• Support user and business onboarding activities and demonstrate platform features.
• Organise field activations, community campaigns and local events.
• Build and maintain relationships with mechanics and other automotive stakeholders.
• Collect real‑world feedback on how users search for and purchase spare parts.
• Identify recurring problems and opportunities, and report observations to the product team.
• Assist with additional operational tasks as the company scales.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and comfort interacting with strangers and businesses.
• Energetic, confident and reliable in field environments.
• Organised, able to collect and convey feedback clearly.
• Comfortable using a smartphone and basic digital tools.
• Interest in automotive, technology, business or entrepreneurship.
• Willingness to travel around Kampala and Entebbe as needed.
