About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the branch’s operations, aligning the business plan with local market opportunities, particularly in mining‑related ecosystems. This senior position focuses on delivering high‑quality customer service while driving financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a branch business plan based on local market analysis.
• Manage day‑to‑day branch operations, including employees, systems and processes.
• Foster a customer‑centric culture, resolve queries and complaints within set timelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the branch’s area.
• Lead multi‑functional customer visits and align activities with local market initiatives.
• Prepare and implement business development plans and financial targets.
• Drive a sales culture responsive to customer needs and coach the team on solutions.
• Monitor internal controls to manage operational and compliance risks.

Required profile

• First degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or related field.
• ACCA or equivalent professional membership.
• At least five years of branch banking experience, including income‑statement management.
• Proven track record in financial sales and service.
• Minimum three years in a management role leading a diverse team.
