Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, building client relationships, and promoting a comprehensive suite of consulting services across Uganda and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and secure new clients through networking, cold calling, digital platforms and strategic partnerships.
• Conduct client meetings to understand needs, prepare and deliver compelling proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, provide accurate forecasts and track performance against targets.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying upsell opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to recommend new service offerings and target emerging sectors.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and networking forums to enhance brand visibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in business development, corporate sales or consulting services.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and preparing winning proposals.
• Existing network of corporate contacts across various industries is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using CRM software for sales tracking and reporting.
