Catering Assistant – Hillcrest Academy (Internship)

About the role

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join the busy kitchen at Hillcrest Academy. The role supports the delivery of nutritious meals to pupils, staff and visitors, ensuring a safe and welcoming dining environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, cooking and portioning according to menu plans.
• Serve meals and maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
• Support stock management, receiving deliveries and storing food safely.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to meet service deadlines.
