Chief Executive Officer

About the role

The Chief Executive Officer will lead SC Villa’s day‑to‑day management, commercial development, governance and strategic growth. Reporting to the President, the CEO ensures financial sustainability and operational excellence across all club functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the club’s strategic plan, annual operational plans and budgets.
• Oversee football operations, player registration, compliance with FIFA, CAF, FUFA and UPL regulations, and transfer administration.
• Manage financial performance, sponsorship negotiations, merchandising, matchday revenue and diversified income streams.
• Ensure full governance and regulatory compliance, maintain licences and internal controls.
• Lead human resources, recruitment, performance management and organizational structure.
• Oversee infrastructure, facility maintenance, stadium usage and capital projects.
• Represent the club with governing bodies, government authorities, media, sponsors and fans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Finance, Law, Commerce or related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years senior management experience, preferably in professional football administration.
• Strong financial, commercial and negotiation skills with proven revenue generation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage corporate governance.
