About the role
Anthony Veder, a gas shipping company operating at the core of the energy transition, is seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join its fleet. This senior deck position combines leadership, operational oversight, and safety management on modern gas tankers.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the deck crew, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
- Educate junior officers and ratings, fostering professional development.
- Oversee cargo handling procedures and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Operate the gas plant and monitor its performance.
- Responsible for the PMS safety officer duties and overall vessel safety.
Required profile
- All mandatory STCW training completed.
- Advanced Gas Tanker certificate.
- Valid medical care certificate.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Experience working with mixed‑nationality crews.
