Coach - Junior Varsity Baseball

About the role

The Upland Unified School District is seeking a dedicated Coach for its Junior Varsity Baseball program. The position involves leading student‑athletes, ensuring a safe and supportive environment, and complying with district policies and certification requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct baseball practices and games for the junior varsity team.
• Maintain current certifications in Concussion in Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Heat Illness Prevention, CPR/First Aid, and any other required training.
• Submit all required documentation through the district’s EDJOIN system, including certificates, letters of recommendation, proof of high school graduation, and a resume.
• Adhere to the district’s non‑discrimination, harassment, and bullying policies.

Required profile

• Valid certificates for Concussion in Sports, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Heat Illness Prevention (renewed every two years).
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.
• Two recent letters of recommendation dated within the last twelve months.
• Proof of high school graduation or equivalent.
• Completed resume submitted via EDJOIN.
