About the role
The Commercial/Finance Trainee programme at Volcafe offers a minimum two‑year rotational experience across sourcing, production, quality, trading, logistics, sustainability and finance. Trainees work with mentors and sponsors to build the knowledge and skills needed for a career in the coffee industry.
Required profile
- BA or MBA in Business, Finance, Economics or International Trade
- Proficiency in MS Office; Excel and Power BI are desirable
- Strong analytical and research abilities
- Business‑level English (verbal and written)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Citizen or permanent resident of Uganda, Tanzania or Kenya
- Valid passport with no travel restrictions
- Willingness to relocate globally on short notice
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including shift patterns during harvest
