Commissioning Electrical Specialist (TIL)

About the role

The Commissioning Electrical Specialist (TIL) will support the Commissioning Electrical Superintendent in delivering safe and efficient pre‑commissioning, commissioning, start‑up and performance testing of a mining/energy facility. The role focuses on executing electrical activities in line with the Commissioning Execution Plan to meet production and contractual targets.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise pre‑commissioning checks, energisation and refurbishment of electrical equipment.
• Lead commissioning activities, test runs and performance tests for assigned electrical systems.
• Execute the Energisation Plan and record all activity completion for the Systems Completion team.
• Participate in walk‑downs, punch‑listing, clearing and reinstatement of electrical installations.
• Plan daily work based on schedule, procedures and available work fronts.
• Coordinate with the E&I subcontractor and ensure issuance of PTW and Job Safety Analyses.

Required profile

• Senior‑level professional with at least 5 years (60 months) of relevant experience.
• Proven ability to supervise technicians and manage electrical commissioning tasks.
• Strong understanding of safety standards, PTW and JSA processes.
• Excellent collaboration skills with project teams and clients.
